A Party Sapphire — the trade name for stones that display multiple colours simultaneously within a single crystal — oval-cut, showing blue, green, and yellow shifting across the stone as the light changes. What reads as teal at one angle opens to an inky green-blue at another. It is a stone that cannot be looked at once and understood.
The setting reaches back to the Hollywood Retro period — the 1940s logic of bold sculptural metalwork brought forward into contemporary proportions. The oval sits in a white gold claw setting, flanked by four marquise-cut satellites in the same sapphire colour, set in pairs at three and nine o'clock. Round brilliant diamonds fill the negative space between them, some in individual claw settings, some grouped. A pavé-set yellow gold band splays out under the head with quiet authority.
