A large emerald-cut Ceylon sapphire — cornflower blue, with the silky clarity that separates Sri Lankan stones from all others — held in an ornate yellow gold crown. The four corner prongs are sculptural: each one a doubled, ridged claw that grips the stone with the authority of something Art Deco-informed but entirely of today. Yellow gold bars run along each long edge of the stone, framing it like a window.
On either flank, stepped formations of baguette and round brilliant diamonds in yellow gold settings build outward from the stone in two tiers — structured, architectural, refusing to be called merely decorative. The entire head sits on a clean white gold band, polished to mirror finish, which grounds the warmth of the yellow gold crown with cool precision.
