A round brilliant tanzanite — deep royal blue with violet undertones — set in yellow gold claws at the centre of a full eight-petal lotus flower. Each petal is formed from a panel of New Zealand pāua abalone shell, inlaid into a white gold petal-shaped frame, then edged with a continuous line of round brilliant diamonds. The result is eight iridescent panels — shifting between green, blue, purple, and copper as the angle changes — radiating from the tanzanite like a blooming flower.
The yellow gold band is clean and architectural, flaring slightly at the shoulders where it meets the lotus base. The gallery beneath the flower head is open, with visible struts supporting the structure from below.
