A star sapphire cabochon — deep black or greenish-black — sits at the centre of a graduated necklace of teal party sapphires in diamond-edged yellow gold mounts. When a focused light source finds the cabochon, a six-rayed asterism concentrates across the dome with precision. The star needs direction, not darkness — an incandescent lamp, an LED spot, a candle beam — and rewards the focused gaze.
An oval teal party sapphire in an eight-claw yellow gold mount, surrounded by two tiers of mixed-cut diamonds — round brilliants in the inner halo, marquise diamonds interspersed through the outer ring — all set in white gold against the yellow gold shank. The double halo creates depth; the marquise diamonds catch light at a different angle to the rounds, making the entire crown appear to shift as the hand moves.
Three-tier chandelier earrings descending in scale. At the top: a smaller oval teal sapphire in a yellow gold round-brilliant halo, functioning as the stud element. A larger oval teal sapphire follows — set in yellow gold claws with a full mixed-cut diamond starburst surround in white gold, marquise and round brilliants radiating outward. At the base: a pear-cut teal sapphire in a diamond pavé teardrop frame, hanging free.
A graduated bib necklace building from small teal sapphire rounds at the outer chain to a large star sapphire cabochon at the apex — its six-rayed asterism visible whenever a focused light source finds it. Below the star: a large faceted round teal sapphire pendant drop in a diamond pavé round frame. The necklace chain is set throughout with teal sapphires of increasing size, each in individual diamond halos, cascading inward to the centrepiece.
