Designed as an airy leaf and blossom motif in a bright white-toned mount, combining textured curling gold leaves with cultured pearls and small blue sapphires scattered like dew through the composition. The pearls give the jewel softness and volume, while the sapphires provide crisp points of colour that lift the whole design.
At approximately 6.5 cm long, it has the scale and animation of a true dress brooch — large enough to register instantly, but still elegant rather than overpowering. It falls beautifully into the long mid-century tradition of floral spray jewellery: a naturalistic floral theme translated into a dynamic, sculptural jewel, with enough openwork and asymmetry to keep it lively on the lapel or shoulder. The striated leaves, the cool blue-white colour contrast and the clustered pearl centres create a jewel with real texture and personality.
